About Robert

Robert Stanford is a licensed NCCAOM certifed acupuncturist. Robert's mission is to offer the highest quality of holistic healthcare possible. Heasth is the state of being when your Spirit is fully expressed through your body and mind.

Robert graduated with a Masters Degree in Acupuncture from the Acacemy for Five Element Acupuncture a nationally accredited acupuncture school located in Gainesville Florida. The program included three years of study and one year of clinical experience working in the AFEA community clinic.

Prior to becoming an acupuncturist, Robert attended MUSC in Charleston South Carolina earning a Bachelors Degree in Nursing and a Masters Degree in Health Science specializing in anesthesia. My work experience includes working as nurse in the ICU and as a nurse anesthetist the OR. Robert has 15 years of experience working in the field of healthcare.

This background in conventional western medicine combined with Chinese medicine gives Robert a unique understanding of health and healing. Heath is not just the absence of disease, but is a state of vitality or wellbeing based on the union of body, mind, and spirit

Coastal Acupuncture is located in Mount Pleasant SC at 220 Coleman Blvd and services the Charleston SC area.
